Soccer Game Preview: Crown Point vs. Penn

The Crown Point Bulldogs will square off against the Penn Kingsmen at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams beat their previous opponents by a single goal, so this matchup might be just as contested.

Crown Point is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand Chesterton a 1-0 shutout. The victory continues a trend for Crown Point in their matchups with Chesterton: they've now won seven in a row.

Crown Point's one-goal win came courtesy of Addy Sabau, who's now up to 20 this season.

Meanwhile, Penn faced Northridge in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Kingsmen had just enough and edged out the Raiders 1-0. That's two games straight that Penn have won by just one goal.
