It may have taken ten innings to finish the job, but Father Lopez ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They skirted past the Mainland Buccaneers 3-2. The Green Wave have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Buccaneers, too.

Father Lopez is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-8 record this season. Mainland's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Father Lopez will square off against Palatka at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Palatka will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last. As for Mainland, they will take on Wekiva at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Wekiva is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.6 runs per game this season.
