Football Recap: Clinton Finds Playoff Glory Versus Ledford + How To Watch

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Clinton walked away with it. They came out on top against the Ledford Panthers by a score of 28-20 on Friday. The win was familiar territory for the Dark Horses, who have now won three contests in a row.

Miles McCallop continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 216 yards and three touchdowns. His passing game has become a key predictor of Clinton's success: the team is 4-2 when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 2-3 otherwise.

Ledford lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Tyson Chavis, who picked up 105 receiving yards and one TD. Ledford also got a significant boost from Dominique Arthur, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 128 yards.

Clinton now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Ledford, their loss was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-9.

Clinton didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 36-17 defeat against T.W. Andrews on the 14th. Ledford does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
