Preview: Hulett Devils vs. Arvada-Clearmont Panthers
Hulett is 10-0 against Arvada-Clearmont since February of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Hulett Devils will look to defend their home court against the Arvada-Clearmont Panthers at 5:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Hulett has three straight wins, Arvada-Clearmont has 14 straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Last Tuesday, Hulett made easy work of Edgemont and carried off a 67-44 win.
Meanwhile, Arvada-Clearmont had to suffer through a rough 67-34 loss at the hands of Midwest. Arvada-Clearmont has struggled against Midwest recently, as their matchup on Saturday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
Hulett has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-6 record this season. As for Arvada-Clearmont, their defeat was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-8.
Everything came up roses for Hulett against Arvada-Clearmont in their previous meeting back in January as the squad secured a 60-24 win. Does Hulett have another victory up their sleeve, or will Arvada-Clearmont turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
