Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Fox Lane walked away with it. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Lincoln Lancers a 21-0 shutout on Monday. The Foxes' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Fox Lane got a massive performance out of Andrew Diaz, who went 1-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Logan Provost was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and three runs.

Fox Lane always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .579. The last time their OBP was this high was back in April.

Fox Lane's record now sits at 15-6. As for Lincoln, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3-1.

Coming up, Fox Lane will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Brewster at 2:00 p.m. Lincoln does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
