Baseball Recap: Glen Rose Comes Up Short

Glen Rose was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Episcopal Wildcats, falling 10-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-1 back in March.

P Johnson was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs. He is becoming a predictor of Glen Rose's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 4-1 (and 4-18 when he doesn't).

Glen Rose's defeat dropped their record down to 8-19. As for Episcopal, they pushed their record up to 20-8 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

As of now, neither Glen Rose nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
