Pocatello scored the most runs they've had this season on Thursday, but it wasn't enough. They fell just short of the Century Diamondbacks by a score of 15-14. The Thunder were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Diamondbacks earlier this season, when they won 7-2.

PARKER WEINHEIMER and CORT VAUGHAN did some serious damage despite the final result: WEINHEIMER went 4-for-6 with five RBI and one triple, while VAUGHAN got on base in four of his five plate appearances with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI. That triple marked the first that WEINHEIMER hit this season. The team also got some help courtesy of JORDAN WILDE, who scored five runs while going 2-for-4.

Pocatello's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 5-12. As for Century, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-12 record.

Pocatello didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 8-6 win against Preston on the 16th. As for Century, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 10-0 defeat against Highland on the 12th.
