Football Recap: Silver Creek Raiders vs. Hill Falcons
Silver Creek was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 27-20 to the Hill Falcons.
A big part of Hill's win came down to the chemistry between Annaliyah Felix and her top target Jenifer Lopez. Felix threw for 276 yards and four touchdowns while completing 75% of her passes while Lopez picked up 131 receiving yards and four touchdowns. Lopez's receiving production has been exceptional recently as that marked her fourth straight game with at least 106 receiving yards.
Silver Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Hill, their victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Silver Creek will stay at home for another week and welcome Gunderson at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hill, they will be defending their home-field for the first time this season they go up against Independence on Tuesday. Hill's defense has only allowed 13 points per game this season, so Independence's offense will have their work cut out for them.
