Jarrett Brown leads Kongiganak to victory over Lewis Angapak

Recap: Kongiganak Wolverines vs. Lewis Angapak Blue Jays
Even though the Kongiganak Wolverines have not done well against the Lewis Angapak Blue Jays recently (they were 1-6 in their previous seven matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Kongiganak slipped by Lewis Angapak 56-55. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Jarrett Brown was on fire: he scored 33 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Keon Fancyboy, who scored eight points.
Kongiganak's win ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-0. As for Lewis Angapak, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-1.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Nelson Island the next time they take the court. Kongiganak will host Nelson Island at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, while Lewis Angapak will host them at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
