Basketball Recap: Kiowa Skates Past Springer with Ease

Kiowa waltzed into their match on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They claimed a resounding 81-44 win over the Springer Cardinals. The Cowboys have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten contests by 21 points or more this season.

Despite the loss, Springer still got an impressive performance from Sammy Gardner, who went 8-for-19 en route to 20 points. Braden Bostic was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Kiowa's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-6. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.0 points over those games. As for Springer, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-11 record this season.

Kiowa does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Springer, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 63-38 loss against Boswell on the 21st.
