Soccer Game Preview: Treasure Coast vs. Martin County

Treasure Coast hasn't had much luck against Martin County recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The two teams will compete for holiday cheer at 4:00 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

On Monday, Treasure Coast and Viera finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, Martin County might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting South Fork an easy 4-1 victory.

Martin County's goal came courtesy of Luciana Licht, who's now up to 22 this season.

Martin County's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-3-1. Treasure Coast's draw makes their record 3-3-4 this season.

Treasure Coast might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Martin County in their previous meeting back in January. Can Treasure Coast avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
