Basketball Recap: Madison Triumphs

Madison lost to West Geauga back in December of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Blue Streaks secured a 56-50 W over the Wolverines.

Parker Williams produced another solid effort shooting 53% from the field on his way to 19 points. Those 19 points gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Luke Laurie, who posted eight points in addition to five assists and five rebounds.

Madison's win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for West Geauga, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.

Coming up, Madison will take on Geneva at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for West Geauga, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Orange at 7:30 p.m. on January 9th.
