Football Recap: Monroe Central Golden Bears vs. Eastern Hancock Royals
If Monroe Central was feeling good fresh off their 36-0 takedown of Wes-Del last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Monroe Central Golden Bears were beaten by the Eastern Hancock Royals 52-14 on Friday. The Golden Bears lost against the Royals in their previous head to head back in September of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 40-26 score last time.

The loss snapped Monroe Central's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-2 record. As for Eastern Hancock, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
