Petaluma extended their winning streak to three on Saturday, bumping their season record up to 12-1 in the process. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Tamalpais Red Tailed Hawks a 7-0 shutout. Considering the Trojans have won six matchups by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on August Cuneo, who went 2-for-3 with five RBI and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Rowan Ball, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

As for Tamalpais, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-4. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, their shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

On Tamalpais' side, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Finnegan McGrane, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double.

Petaluma wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Acalanes on the 16th. As for Tamalpais, they have also already played their next game, a 13-5 loss against Novato on the 15th.
