Basketball Recap: South Philadelphia Comes Up Short

South Philadelphia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the Olney Trojans, falling 62-37. The Rams were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Trojans apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2021.

South Philadelphia's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Olney, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.

South Philadelphia will take on Freire Charter at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Olney, they will face off against Digital Harbor at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
