Orestimba hasn't had much luck against Ripon recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Warriors will be playing at home against the Indians at 6:00 p.m.

Orestimba came up short against Sonora on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

Orestimba took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-10, 25-11.

Meanwhile, Ripon entered their tilt with Hughson on Thursday with 14 consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 15. They put the hurt on the Huskies with a sharp 3-0 victory.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Ripon was: they took every set by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-6, 25-13, 25-12.

Orestimba better keep an eye on Kennedy Everhart. She was instrumental in Ripon's win, getting nine digs and eight aces. Those eight aces gave Everhart a new career-high.

Ripon was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 21 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least nine aces in three consecutive matchups.

Ripon's win bumped their record up to 18-2. As for Orestimba, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-15.
