Basketball Game Preview: Tug Valley Panthers vs. Wahama White Falcons

The Tug Valley Panthers will face off against the Wahama White Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Tug Valley comes in on 16 and Wahama on six.

Tug Valley is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Wirt County 55-22. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 15 contests by 20 points or more this season.

Tug Valley's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Bailee Hall, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and 17 rebounds. Hall is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down 14 or more in each of the last five games she's played. Another player making a difference was Haven Deskins, who went 5-for-10 on her way to 14 points.

Meanwhile, Wahama hadn't done well against St. Joseph Central recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Wahama managed a 41-36 victory over St. Joseph Central.

Tug Valley pushed their record up to 20-2 with the win, which was their 11th straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.1 points on average over those games. As for Wahama, their victory bumped their record up to 16-5.
