Volleyball Game Preview: Apple Valley Eagles vs. Edina Hornets + Official Tickets

The Apple Valley Eagles will face off against the Edina Hornets at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Apple Valley took a loss when they played away from home two weeks ago, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed last Tuesday. They put the hurt on Burnsville with a sharp 3-0 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Eagles have posted against the Blaze since October 15, 2019.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Edina and St. Louis Park meet (six straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Wednesday. The Hornets came out on top against the Orioles by a score of 3-1.

Edina's victory bumped their record up to 9-17. As for Apple Valley, their win bumped their record up to 16-8.
