Oasis Academy put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They never let the Battle Mountain Longhorns get on the board and left with a 3-0 win. The three-run effort marked the Bighorns' lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Ryder McNabb was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out ten over five innings pitched. Those ten strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI. That double marked the first that he hit this season.

McNabb wasn't the only one making solid contact as five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Kayden White, who went 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI.

Oasis Academy pushed their record up to 7-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Battle Mountain, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-4.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Oasis Academy beat Battle Mountain by a score of 11-1 on Saturday.
