Football Recap: Mounds Starts Season with Loss at Home + How To Watch

Mounds unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They took a 38-30 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Okmulgee Bulldogs on Friday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it nine in a row.

The win got Okmulgee back to even at 1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mounds will square off against Kellyville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Okmulgee, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Beggs at 7:00 p.m. on the 19th.
