Basketball Recap: Whitehouse Comes Up Short

Whitehouse lost against Lufkin back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Whitehouse Wildcats were dealt a 56-21 loss at the hands of the Lufkin Panthers. The Wildcats were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 30-3.

Whitehouse has traveled a rocky road recently having lost ten of their last 12 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-15 record this season. As for Lufkin, the victory (which was their 23rd in a row) raised their record to 26-2.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Nacogdoches the next time they take the court. Lufkin will host Nacogdoches at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while Whitehouse will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on January 21st.
