Basketball Recap: Cheltenham Snaps Five-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Cheltenham has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 60-58 heartbreaker at the hands of the Abington Galloping Ghosts. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 70-57 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Cheltenham's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-5. As for Abington, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cheltenham will face off against Upper Moreland at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Upper Moreland will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Cheltenham surely won't give up without a fight. As for Abington, they will take on Wissahickon at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
