Basketball Recap: Northside L's Run of Five Straight Wins Now Over

If Northside L was feeling good fresh off their 64-18 takedown of Tipton on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Northside L Lions fell just short of the Lewis Cass Kings by a score of 42-40 on Friday. The game marked the Lions' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lewis Cass to victory, but perhaps none more so than Anna Hedrick, who went 6 of 14 on her way to 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mylie Sipe, who posted nine points.

With the loss, Northside L broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-1. As for Lewis Cass, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-2.

Northside L does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Lewis Cass has also already played their next contest, a 39-31 victory against University on the 28th.
