Volleyball Recap: Aberdeen Takes a Loss

Aberdeen lost against Itawamba Agricultural back in August, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bulldogs came up short against the Indians, falling 3-0. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Aberdeen may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored zero points in every single set they played. The final score came out to 25-0, 25-0, 25-0.

Leading Itawamba Agricultural to victory were Marli Larabee and Mia Martin. Larabee had four aces and three assists, while Martin hit 71.4% for five kills and eight aces. That's the most aces Larabee has posted since back in August. Rayna Prestage also deserves some recognition as she had her first kills of the season.

Aberdeen's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Itawamba Agricultural, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-7.

Aberdeen has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Nettleton on the 4th. As for Itawamba Agricultural, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Shannon on the 4th.
