Basketball Recap: Cross Skates Past Holy Trinity Classical Christian with Ease

There's no place like home for Cross, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They blew past the Holy Trinity Classical Christian Mighty Lions 57-24 on Tuesday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Stingrays considering their 29-point performance the contest before.

Leading Cross to victory were Luke Fulda and Zach Nicastro. Fulda went 10 of 24 en route to 21 points along with seven boards and seven steals, while Nicastro posted 16 points and three steals. The matchup was Fulda's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ladi Adeisa, who put up six points and four steals.

Cross moved to 3-11 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak. As for Holy Trinity Classical Christian, their defeat was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-8.

Cross will host Varsity Opponent at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Holy Trinity Classical Christian, they will venture away from home to challenge Andrew Jackson Academy at 7:00 p.m. on January 17th.
