Softball Recap: Chamblee Bulldogs vs. Peachtree Ridge Lions        
        
		
                                                         On Saturday, the Chamblee Bulldogs made easy work of the Peachtree Ridge Lions  and carried off  a  12-4 win. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Bulldogs.
  Gali Nelson spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned  (and one unearned) runs on eight hits and racked up seven Ks.
 On the hitting side, Chamblee got a  massive  performance out of  Caroline Runsick, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of  Madison Jones, who  went 2-for-3 with two  runs and a  triple.
 Chamblee's victory bumped their record up to 2-0.
 Chamblee will welcome Collins Hill  at 5:45  p.m.  on Monday. As for Peachtree Ridge, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  game,  an  11-1  loss vs. Mountain View on the 3rd.
