Football Recap: Skyline Comes Up Short

Skyline was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 17th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were beaten by the McClymonds Warriors 44-0. While losing is never fun, the Titans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 946th, while the Warriors are ranked 155th).

Skyline's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for McClymonds, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 7-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Skyline will take on Fremont at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for McClymonds, they will face off against Oakland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Warriors will need to watch out since the Wildcats have now posted at least 31 points in their last five contests.
