Basketball Game Preview: Perkiomen Valley Vikings vs. Norristown Eagles

Perkiomen Valley and Norristown are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2019, but not for long. The Perkiomen Valley Vikings will be playing at home against the Norristown Eagles at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

On Tuesday, Perkiomen Valley ended up a good deal behind Spring-Ford and lost 58-42. The Vikings haven't had much luck with the Rams recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Meanwhile, Norristown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were dealt an 83-54 defeat at the hands of Pope John Paul II. The Eagles were down 64-36 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Perkiomen Valley's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Norristown, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Perkiomen Valley skirted past Norristown 65-62 when the teams last played back in January. Does Perkiomen Valley have another victory up their sleeve, or will Norristown turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
