Softball Recap: Cayuga Wildcats vs. Martins Mill Mustangs
Cayuga lost against Martins Mill last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Cayuga Wildcats wound up on the wrong side of a tough 11-4 walloping at the hands of the Martins Mill Mustangs. Cayuga has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Kaycie Wine was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-3. Another player making a difference was Ella Lightfoot, who scored a run while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
Cayuga's defeat dropped their record down to 5-21-1. As for Martins Mill, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-7.
Cayuga does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Martins Mill also has no future games currently scheduled.
