Baseball Game Preview: Sneads Pirates vs. Seminole County Indians

The Sneads Pirates will square off against the Seminole County Indians at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Sneads will be strutting in after a victory while Seminole County will be coming in after a defeat.

Sneads' pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Vernon with a sharp 14-0 win. The Pirates haven't had any issues with the Yellowjackets recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, after a string of nine wins, Seminole County's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They fell just short of Miller County by a score of 4-3.

Seminole County saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kade Touchton, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Sneads' win bumped their record up to 10-12. As for Seminole County, their loss dropped their record down to 16-4.

Sneads was able to grind out a solid victory over Seminole County in their previous matchup back in March of 2024, winning 7-4. Do the Pirates have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Indians turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
