Monadnock waltzed into their contest on Friday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They never let the Brattleboro Bears get on the board and left with a 6-0 victory. The Huskies might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by six runs or more this season.

Monadnock pushed their record up to 6-1 with the win, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Brattleboro, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

The future could be bright for both Monadnock and Brattleboro: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. The Huskies will try to hand Newport their fourth-straight loss when the two meet at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
