Baseball Recap: Odin/Patoka/Sandoval Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Odin/Patoka/Sandoval, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Mulberry Grove Aces with a sharp 10-2 victory on Friday. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Eagles' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

Lance Nix was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. Another player making a difference was Austin Hoffman, who scored two runs and stole two bases.

The win got Odin/Patoka/Sandoval back to even at 2-2. As for Mulberry Grove, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

As for Mulberry Grove, they will face off against Dieterich at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
