Baseball Recap: Holdrege Dusters vs. Maxwell Wildcats

Holdrege's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Maxwell Wildcats as they made off with a 12-2 win. The Dusters might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three games by six runs or more this season.

Kegan Steinke was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. Steinke was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base. Holdrege is undefeated when Steinke posts two or more runs, but 0-4 otherwise.

In other batting news, Nick Weides was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while going 1-for-3.
