Volleyball Recap: Southern Alamance Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Southern Alamance was the 3-1 winner over Cedar Ridge when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Patriots lost 3-0 to the Fighting Red Wolves on Tuesday. The Patriots just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row dating back to last season.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-10, 25-11.

Cedar Ridge was led to victory by Sydnee Tapper and Avery Owens. Tapper had ten digs and three assists, while Owens had.

Southern Alamance's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Cedar Ridge, their win was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Southern Alamance will host Uwharrie Charter Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Cedar Ridge, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Jordan at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
