Basketball Recap: St. Johns Classical Academy Takes a Loss

St. Johns Classical Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They took a blow against the West Nassau Warriors, falling 62-20. The contest marked the Lions' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

St. Johns Classical Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for West Nassau, the victory got them back to even at 6-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Johns Classical Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Global Outreach Charter Academy at 7:00 p.m. on January 13, 2025. After both having extra time off, West Nassau and Harvest Community will dust off their jerseys to square off against one another at 4:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
