Easley came tearing into Saturday's matchup with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Socastee Braves. While the Green Wave didn't have the best season last year (they finished 14-20), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Claire Bivens paced Easley's offense, picking up seven kills. Bivens got some help from Kate Kelley and her ten assists. Kelley was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Easley's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Socastee, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Easley will square off against J.L. Mann at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Socastee, they will challenge Waccamaw at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
