She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out 11 over six innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in seven consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with one double.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Tayiah Scanlan, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. Mia Chavez also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.
