There's no place like home for Columbine, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Bear Creek Bears on Tuesday. The Rebels haven't had any issues with the Bears recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

One reason for the win was Columbine's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-17, 25-13.

Sofia Screaton paced Columbine's offense, picking up seven kills. Screaton got some help from Maddie Lynett and her 14 assists. Lynett was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Columbine's win bumped their record up to 12-3. As for Bear Creek, they dropped their record down to 2-9 with the loss, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Columbine will face off against rival Golden at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Bear Creek is set to challenge their familiar foe Valor Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
