Basketball Recap: Ida Takes a Loss

Ida was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 48-44 heartbreaker at the hands of the Dundee Vikings. The Bluestreaks were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Vikings earlier this season, when they won 57-43.

Ida's record is now 6-11. As for Dundee, the victory snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 3-13 record.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ida will square off against Blissfield at 7:00 p.m. on February 7th. As for Dundee, they will take on Britton Deerfield at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Britton Deerfield knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight matches -- so hopefully Dundee likes a good challenge.
