Smithfield faced East Providence in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Sentinels put the hurt on the Townies with a sharp 10-1 victory. The Sentinels haven't had any issues with the Townies recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Crystal Cacador made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out ten batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits (and not a single walk).
