Bagdad faced Mohave Accelerated in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Sultans took their game with ease, bagging a 50-0 victory over the Patriots. The win continues a trend for the Sultans in their matchups with the Patriots: they've now won five in a row.

Bagdad got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Ezrah Aguilar out in front who threw for 297 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 12.9 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 52 yards and one score. The dominant performance also gave Aguilar a new career-high in passer rating (148.1). Destry Owings was Aguilar's top target, picking up 165 receiving yards and three TDs.

Bagdad didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Levi Alfred and Owings. Alfred is also crushing it when it comes to sacks: he's posted at least one every time he's taken the field this season.

Bagdad's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Mohave Accelerated, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 4-3 record.
