Softball Recap: Mariner Marauders vs. Kamiak Knights
Mariner fell victim to Kamiak and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They wound up on the wrong side of a rough 20-0 walloping at the hands of the Kamiak Knights. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Mariner of the 18-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2023.
For Kamiak's part, Synclair Mawudeku and Ally Boulger were a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, Mawudeku struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits (and not a single walk).
