Baseball Recap: Pallotti Takes a Loss

Fans were treated to a battle of the Panthers on Wednesday. Pallotti came up short against St. Frances Academy, falling 17-7. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat Pallotti has suffered since March 10th.

Robert Gamble stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: he scored a run while going 1-for-2. Ryan Cobb-Davis also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Pallotti now has a losing record of 7-8. As for St. Frances Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-2-1.

Coming up, Pallotti will venture away from home to face off against Western Tech & Environmental Science at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for St. Frances Academy, they will welcome Jemicy at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. St. Frances Academy is facing Jemicy at the right time seeing as Jemicy is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
