Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask the Warriors). They really took it to the St. Pius X Lancers for the full four quarters, racking up a 48-20 victory. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 45-0.

When it comes to explaining why the Lancers lost on Friday, don't look at Cody Shaver. Despite the final result, he rushed for 190 yards and one TD while picking up 8.3 yards per carry. Shaver is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 152 every time he's taken the field this season.

The Warriors are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 37.0 points over those games. As for the Lancers, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 4-4 record.

Looking ahead, the Warriors will welcome the Savages at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Warriors will need to watch out since the Savages have now posted at least 31 points in their last five games. As for the Lancers, they will venture away from home to challenge the Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Warriors will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each matchup than the last.
