Basketball Recap: Brockway Comes Up Short

Brockway was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 49-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Kane Wolves. The Rovers were up 30-8 in the second quarter but couldn't hold on to the lead.

Brockway's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Kane, the win snapped their losing streak at seven games dating back to last season and leaves them with a 1-5 record.

When Brockway and Kane next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Brockway will try to stop Elk County Catholic's four-game winning streak when the meet at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Similarly, Kane will try to stop Youngsville's three-game winning streak when the meet at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
