Basketball Recap: Friday's Victory Is Mobile Christian's Seventh in Last Nine Outings

Mobile Christian proved they can win big two weeks ago (they won by 27) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Orange Beach Makos 44-41. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Leopards have posted since January 5, 2024.

Mobile Christian has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. As for Orange Beach, they dropped their record down to 6-17 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Mobile Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 50-25 victory against Leroy on the 4th. As for Orange Beach, they will host Escambia County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
