Basketball Recap: Hurley Comes Up Short

Hurley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Twin Springs Titans and fell 52-20. The Rebels lost against the Titans in their previous head to head back in February of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 87-32 score last time.

Hurley's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Twin Springs, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hurley and East Ridge will round out the year against one another at at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Twin Springs will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against Lee at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
