Basketball Recap: Dayton Takes a Loss

Dayton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 49-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sheridan Spartans. The Pirates were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Spartans apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Dayton now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Sheridan, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 7-8 record this season.

Dayton will welcome Blanchet Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Sheridan, they will take on Taft at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
