Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Granger). They strolled past the Riverside Christian Crusaders with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 46-30. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Spartans as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Granger's win ended a nine-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-8. As for Riverside Christian, their defeat was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-6.

Granger won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Liberty Christian at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Granger is facing Liberty Christian at the right time seeing as Liberty Christian is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Riverside Christian, they and Highland will face off at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Riverside Christian will also cruise into their next game with the timing on their side: Highland will have lost six straight heading into Saturday's contest.
