Soccer Game Preview: Wyatt vs. Paschal

The Wyatt Chaparrals will head out on the road to square off against the Paschal Panthers at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. Wyatt is coming into the game hot, having won their last nine games.

Last Tuesday, Wyatt made easy work of North Side and carried off a 4-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Chaparrals, who have now won six matches by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit North Side with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Benjamin Mugisha, Christian Alvarez, Desire Kyanga, and Brayan Reyes.

Meanwhile, Paschal fell victim to Arlington Heights and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Yellowjackets by a score of 1-0. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Wyatt's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 26 goals over those five contests. As for Paschal, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5-3.

Wyatt beat Paschal by a goal in their previous meeting back in January of 2020, winning 1-0. Does Wyatt have another victory up their sleeve, or will Paschal turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
